A Corinthian Boy

A Corinthian Boy is a novel about life in 1st century Corinth. Extensively researched, the book draws upon literary and historical sources as well as archaeological findings to present an accurate picture of the society to which an itinerant tent-maker brought the news of a new mystery religion, one which offered a more certain hope of escaping the grasp of cold Hades.

Author Kendall Down has published a number of other books, the most popular of which is Bethlehem Love Story.

Fascinating stuff and a good story too. Thanks for that.

This is another of Ken's excellent stories that is well worth reading. Essentially a tale about Arxes, a Corinthian teenager, who meets Aquila, Priscilla, Paul and Silas ... but go on and read it for yourselves. The writer has done plenty of reseach (see the bibliography) and there are extensive footnotes. Go and enjoy it. If I had any criticism of Corinthian Boy it is that the story stopped when it did. More! More!

I'm reading the book you wrote. I have not finished it yet, but it has interesting historical and biblical facts in a fascinating storyline. I can't wait to finish it. How many books have you written?
