Tennessee

The grand old state of Tennessee is one of those laid out by surveyors, with its northern and southern borders hugging parallels of lattitude, its western border fixed by the mighty Mississippi and only its eastern border is, like any civilised country, fixed by the accidents of history - namely the pre-existing state of North Carolina.

Our only film so far features Dawn Jones talking about the state's second-best known city - Memphis - and its best-known inhabitant - Elvis Presley who, to the best of my knowledge, has not been spotted in our local supermarket. Not lately, any way.
