In this film we visit the beach, where despite the fact that it is only spring in Australia, there were pretty girls sunbathing and young persons of both sexes catching the breakers that rolled in from the Pacific ocean. We then see a monument to coal on whose four sides plaques depict the way coal was mined and exported in 1829 and contrast that and the output with the advances evident in 1909.
Finally we visit the city's Anglican cathedral, an enormous brick structure in the heart of the city and discover the lengths to which insurance difficulties have driven them following the earthquake in 1999.
