Manly Beach

As well as its famous harbour, Sydney also has some splendid beaches, whose surf is almost as good as that in Hawaii. It is difficult to know which is the better - Bondi Beach or Manly Beach. However Manly lies at the end of a ferry ride, so it was to Manly that I went recently, to evoke memories of past visits and recall the one job that I really, really wanted when I was young!
