I'll bet you don't know what "clipping" a church means. I didn't either until I visited the little village of Edgmond, not from from Shrewsbury. Apparently it is a ceremony based on Anglo-Saxon practice, but revived back in the 1800s - and the rector is very proud of the fact that no other church in England has the ceremony (or at least, not in this precise way).
The film is rather longer than we like, so you will have to wait a little while it fills up the buffer. Sorry about that, but there wasn't really any suitable place to break it. It gives you a taster of the service.
I am very grateful to the rector for permission to film the service.
