Pantasaph is a small village just south of Holywell, notable solely for the large Franciscan Retreat Centre on the main street. (There used to be a Catholic school on the opposite side of the road, but that closed down years ago and has now been converted into flats.)

The hillside behind the Centre has been laid out in a lovely woodland walk whose theme is the Stations of the Cross. There is, apparently, an indulgence for "anyone who looks on the cross from afar and says a prayer for the conversion of England". I'm not sure if looking on it over the Internet counts, but I guess most of you will certainly be doing so "from afar"!
