The battered and blasted convoy by the side of the main road from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem has long fascinated me, but either I have been in a bus or a taxi, or I have been in a hurry, and so unable to stop and investigate it.
In 2001, at last, I both had a car and had time, and this film is the result.

Other books I have read include "O Jerusalem" and "Freedom at Midnight", both by Larry Collins. Unfortunately I am not aware of any book which tells the story from the Palestinian point of view.
