China, the most populous if not the largest country in the world, stretches from Vietnam in the south to Russia in the north, from Tibet in the west to the Pacific Ocean in the east.. I've never been closer to it than Hong Kong (many years ago!), so I am grateful to the friend who supplied our first film from that vast land.
