Jan Zizka, the blind general who defeated the enemies of the Czech reformation

If John Huss was one of my wife's heroes, John Siska was one of mine and it was thrilling to find him remembered in the main square of Tabor. The story of how this remarkable man triumphed over his own handicap and over the best soldiers from 30 countries in Europe is thrilling.

Incidentally, there should be a funny little 'v' over both 'Z's which turns them into the sound of the 's' in the middle of "erasure" or "pleasure". Make sure your false teeth are firmly in place before you try it - Zizka.
