Bikes and Umbrellas

	A thoughtful girl keeps the sun off her boyfriend on their daily commute

There's no doubt the weather was hot and humid when we were in Guilin and we were always glad of a chance to get out of the sun and into some shade - especially if that shade was air-conditioned!

What do you do, though, if you have to be out and about in the heat, and you can't afford a car, and your only means of transport is a bike (with or without motor) or a scooter? Answer: you keep the sun off, that's what.

I particularly enjoyed the trio riding side by side, the two male drivers chatting happily, oblivious to the traffic, while the female pillion rider kept the sun off her man. She looked rather relaxed and elegant, actually!
