Cambridgeshire is not quite as flat as some of the counties further east, but it is flat enough. Like the rest of East Anglia, it is noted for its churches with their towering spires. However it is also famous for other things such as the city of Cambridge, with its ancient colleges; its mysterious earthworks and its many castles and other fine old buildings.
